Alarming number of measles-infected patients, come for blood tests

Dear clients,

given the alarming and ever-increasing number of measles-infected patients, we offer you a blood test for antibody levels and, in the case of low values, also vaccinations.

On April 6, 2018, a total of 70 cases of measles were reported in the Czech Republic. Most diseases are recorded in  Prague (48 cases), and in the Central Bohemian Region (10 cases). The development of another epidemiological situation in the incidence of measles in the Czech Republic is difficult to clearly anticipate, but an upward trend can be expected. This condition is fully consistent with the development of the epidemiological situation in measles in Europe.

Vaccination against measles spread throughout the world in the 1960s. In the Czech Republic, regular vaccination against measles infection was introduced in 1969, at first with one dose, and from 1975 with two doses of vaccine. However, it is not possible to reliably determine the 100% efficacy of the vaccine over the lifetime.

The blood test will not take you more than 10 minutes of your time, it is not fast. The result is known within a week. If you decide to get a vaccine after consulting a doctor, you can start immediately.
