Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive examination method used to record the electrical activity of the brain. This method helps to diagnose various neurological diseases and disorders. EEG examination is performed especially in patients with:
During the examination, electrodes are attached to the patient's scalp to sense the brain's electrical potentials. These potentials are recorded by an electroencephalograph and displayed as waves on a monitor or paper. The examination is painless and usually takes 20 to 40 minutes. During the brain scan (EEG), the patient may be asked to perform various tasks such as opening and closing the eyes or deep breathing.
It is important to wash your hair before an EEG scan in children and adults to ensure good contact between the electrodes and the scalp. Conversely, it is not recommended to use hair products such as gels or weights.
You should seek an EEG examination if you suffer from recurrent seizures, sleep disturbances, sudden loss of consciousness, or if you suspect another neurological condition. EEG is also important for monitoring patients after head injuries or brain surgery. Do not hesitate to contact our neurology (Prague).

I couldn't have picked a nicer clinic. For me it's absolutely TOP. Such a nice and professional staff as in Atoda is hard to see. With my panic fear of needles, we found a way to overcome all the withdrawals during pregnancy ... gynecologist MUDr. Vlček is a pedant who does not underestimate anything! After my son was born, I signed him up for the atody as well. Regular check-ups at the exact time when I come and do not have to wait are not even remotely comparable to the meticulous approach of the pediatrician! The price/quality ratio is more than favorable! When I take into account that I have almost everything under one roof and I don't have to run halfway across Prague ... it's definitely worth it

The attitude of the staff, the organization of the patients, the general quality of the care provided.
