In an effort to gain the best possible clinical experience, after graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava, I worked for many years in several university hospitals in the Czech Republic. I also completed several years of training (ECFMG certificate) and clinical internships in the USA. I also worked for a short time in a new concept hospital in Bratislava, Slovakia.
In addition to general neurology, I am interested in clinical neurophysiology (EMG). Due to my interest in this field, I have attended several EMG courses in the Czech Republic and abroad.
My interest in rare neurological diseases led me to work for several years in subspecialized departments, especially in the field of neuromuscular diseases, demyelinating and neurodegenerative diseases.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have been involved in research in the field of neuropharmacology and experimental neurophysiology in Slovakia and the USA.
