She graduated with honours from the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in 2000. Since then, she worked as a secondary physician at the III Internal Medicine Clinic of the VFN, in inpatient wards and outpatient clinics in the field of internal medicine and endocrinology until her maternity leave in 2008. In 2004 she passed the 1st attestation in internal medicine and in 2009 the specialisation attestation in endocrinology. In 2007 she defended her doctorate in Human Physiology and Pathophysiology with specialization in endocrine issues. She is the author and co-author of a number of domestic and international publications and co-investigator of several grants. In 2010, she founded her own small medical facility specializing in endocrinology, obesitology and internal medicine, as she says, with a focus on Eastern and natural medicine. She has an accredited course in acupuncture and has been studying traditional Chin medicine, phytotherapy and new developments in Western and Eastern medicine for years. She enjoys bringing this information together and also enjoys writing about it. Medicine is her hobby, but not her only one. She owns several horses and in her spare time enjoys equestrian archery, tai-chi, mountain climbing and many other novel activities.
A doctor's visit is charged from CZK 1,500 depending on the examination.
