Knee arthrosis, also known as gonarthrosis (Latin: arthrosis genus), is a degenerative disease of the knee joint that causes gradual wear and tear of the articular cartilage. Excessive stress on the joints: especially in overweight people or athletes with high stress on the knees.
Knee injuries: Injury to the meniscus or ligaments can accelerate degenerative processes in the joint.
